Defining Love
It is easier to feel love than to define it.
Love is a warm, fuzzy feeling that makes you feel incredibly good!
You can't see it but you can feel it. Just like the wind: you can't see it, but you can feel the breeze touch your cheek. So, even if you can't see love,
you can give and receive it.
Love is totally accepting yourself as you are, even if you have mistakes and make mistakes.
Love is good and gives your life meaning.
Love is like health and wealth. The more you have, the more you want.
Love is like a game, except that it's not about winning or losing - it's more important howyou play.
When you chose love, you will know happiness and joy, comfort and support.
What Represents Love To You?
List as many as possible aspects, which represent love to you, for example:
A hug A smile A flower Freshly baked bread
Make a list.
Find a picture that represents for you, the most exquisite, fathomless, passionate, and beautiful expression of LOVE imaginable... and use it as a screensaver.
The Benefits of Love
Apart from the obvious pleasurable, elated, great feeling love brings to all of us, this wonderful energy has specific other benefits:
Love Increases our IQ
Throughout the ages the heart has been considered the seat of love, compassion and emotions. From that phrases like: "My heart is bursting with joy" and "My heart is broken" originated.
Positive feelings of love create a harmonious positive state known as 'coherence'. This is when your nervous system and all systems of our body are working with greater harmony, efficiency, and synchronisation.
Dr. Paul Pearsall reported, after his study about consciousness and human functioning, when we focus on and sustain feelings of love, this can increase aspects of general intelligence and strengthen our immune systems.
Love Increases our Immune system
B. Marciniak in her book FAMILY OF LIGHT concurs: "..loving yourself enhances your immune system,.....and allows you to become immune to toxicities, because the frequency of love is the most powerful force of existence."
